Journey level with 5-10 years related experience is required, including operation and repair of centrifugal chillers up to 500 tons, reciprocating chillers, modular systems, gas-fired boilers, DX units, exhaust fans, cooling towers, water pumps, air compressors, and pneumatic controls. Additional desired skills include water treatment methods, data/spreadsheet tracking, CMMS familiarity, clean room HVAC knowledge, and industrial safety practices.
The role involves working under HVAC A lead site technician(s) in a team environment, with physical requirements including ascending/descending ladders and stairs, bending, squatting, stooping, twisting, carrying, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in confined spaces.
Candidates with a High School Diploma, HVAC certification, water treatment certification, completion of a formalized HVAC apprenticeship program, Section 608 certification, valid driver's license, and U.S. Person status are preferred. A desire to learn new skills and 5-10 years of journey-level experience also strengthen applications.
