Associates Degree in HVAC or graduate of state approved Plumbing or HVAC-related program
Skills in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of building systems, HVAC/Boiler systems, plumbing systems, fire protection, emergency generators, life safety equipment, kitchen equipment, elevators, escalators, fitness center equipment, and miscellaneous systems
Welding and metal fabrication skills
Ability to monitor HVAC systems via automated building control systems, adjust air handling units, determine system run schedules and alarm points, advise on software programming changes, monitor Variable Frequency Drives, water treatment systems, and Auto Flame High-Pressure Boiler Control system
Ability to assess service contracts, serve on Relocation Team, participate in Emergency Response Team (routine medical situations, building evacuations, severe weather monitoring)
Ability to maintain prints/documentation, Business Resumption Plans, inventory levels of parts/tools/materials, research catalogs/Internet/vendors, and complete requisition forms

Responsibilities

Service, operate, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, steam, boilers, commercial kitchen equipment, and other mechanical building systems to ensure security and safety of personnel and property
Provide continual coverage to maintain required environment for critical data center functions through proper operation of HVAC building systems
Identify, troubleshoot, isolate, and repair failures in HVAC and building systems; respond to system failures and emergencies
Perform special projects from design through installation, researching best practices while incorporating safety and regulatory issues
Schedule and monitor progress/completion of installation and maintenance work by service contractors on HVAC building systems
Maintain and repair plumbing systems (domestic water supply, drains, pumps, fire protection); investigate/resolve leaks, clogs, and perform minor/emergency repairs
Assist with maintaining/testing fire protection, emergency generators, and life safety equipment; respond to data center fire protection emergencies
Perform maintenance/repairs on kitchen equipment (refrigeration, cooking, exhaust control systems)
Perform/oversee preventative maintenance/repairs on elevators, escalators, fitness center equipment, and miscellaneous systems or coordinate external vendors
Maintain/repair chillers, booster/circulating pumps, cooling towers, and related HVAC equipment
Monitor HVAC/Boiler systems operation, adjust for efficiency/comfort, respond to WE Energies calls to shed natural gas load
Ensure proper inventory, research parts/supplies, complete requisitions for preventative/emergency maintenance
