Position Overview

Humana is seeking several extraordinary individuals to join our team to support the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). These are seasonal, limited-term, 100% work-at-home assignments with training beginning in August and assignments lasting up to six months. This year, Humana is offering various assignments focused on supporting our members with their enrollment needs.

Available Assignments:

Enrollment Representative

  • Responsibilities:
    • Process member applications.
    • Enroll members on company platforms.
    • Transmit enrollment information to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
    • Perform basic administrative, clerical, operational, customer support, and computational tasks.
    • Provide excellent service to members.
    • Review reports and make adjustments, additions, and deletions based on CMS regulations in a results-oriented production environment.
    • Resolve member issues, inquiries, and concerns with empathy and compassion.

Inbound Contact Representative

  • Responsibilities:
    • Handle 20-30 inbound calls daily from potential members, agents, and providers.
    • Answer questions and resolve enrollment issues.
    • Provide excellent support during each call.
    • Update or correct information to ensure applications can be processed.
    • Work with agents on applications missing information or completed incorrectly.
    • Ensure members have no access to care issues on their effective dates.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior customer service or operations work experience.
  • Prior experience utilizing multiple computer applications simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously within a production-based environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Work at Home (WAH) Requirements:
    • Minimum internet connection speed of 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload.
    • A dedicated, secure home workspace.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience handling a high volume of calls while providing excellent customer service.
  • Experience in military, healthcare/managed care, banking, or related industries handling confidential and personal information.
  • Experience working with the senior population.

Additional Information:

  • Schedules: Shifts will fall between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM EST and may include weekend days.
  • Opportunities for overtime hours are available.
  • This is a seasonal Humana associate position.
