Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints, conflicts, and policy violations; document findings and recommend action
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies
  • Assist in responding to legal claims, audits, or government agency inquiries
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure consistent application of company policy
  • Support performance review processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and performance improvement plans
  • Coach managers and employees on feedback, development, and disciplinary matters
  • Facilitate and guide corrective action and progressive discipline processes
  • Assist with succession planning and identifying high-potential talent
  • Support annual compensation review processes (e.g., merit increases, market adjustments)
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards team on benefits administration, benefits enrollment and employee education
  • Collaborate closely with the Leave of Absence Department, serving as the primary lead on the Interactive process
  • Facilitate communication between employees, managers, and HR to assess reasonable accommodations and support employees’ successful return to work
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to align hiring efforts with workforce planning needs
  • Participate in interview processes for key roles and support hiring managers with best practices
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation for new hires, including documentation and initial training support
  • Support the delivery of employee training and development programs
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on topics such as anti-harassment, leadership, workplace ethics, and wage and hour
  • Promote initiatives that enhance employee engagement, and recognition
  • Participate in or lead HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs
