Requirements

  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in HR operations, benefits, or HR coordination roles
  • Experience supporting U.S. and/or Canadian benefit programs and leave administration
  • Strong working knowledge of HR processes, compliance basics, and employee data management
  • Experience with Workday (or similar HRIS) is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR operational activities including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and employee data updates
  • Maintain high data integrity across systems including Workday and other HR platforms
  • Support HR process improvements and help standardize workflows across North America
  • Respond to employee inquiries with a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and service
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure timely, accurate processing of employment changes and data transfers
  • Assist in policy interpretation, documentation updates, and compliance-related tasks
  • Support the administration of all North American benefit programs including health, dental, vision, disability, FMLA/leave programs, retirement plans, commuter benefits, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Lead coordination of benefits enrollment periods (annual enrollment, new hire enrollment, qualifying life events)
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits questions and issue resolution
  • Work with external benefits brokers, vendors, and carriers to support escalations, audits, and process updates
  • Assist with benefits reporting, data audits, invoices, and compliance filings
  • Execute HR transactions within Workday (or relevant HRIS) with accuracy and timeliness
  • Support configuration needs, testing, and enhancement projects in partnership with the HRIS team
  • Prepare standard HR reports and dashboards to support leadership insights and compliance needs
  • Help maintain digital employee files and ensure proper documentation storage
  • Deliver exceptional employee support while reinforcing HR policies, guidelines, and best practices
  • Assist with HR communications related to benefits, policy changes, org updates, and program launches
  • Support new hire orientation and employee engagement activities as needed
