Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Prior working experience in Human Resources function
  • Must be proficient in the full MS Office suite
  • Labour law and regulations governing the Human Resources function
  • Sound understanding of human resources policies, practices, and procedures
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work across all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse situations, make decisions and take measured risks using available data as well as insight
  • Proven ability to maintain high-level of confidentiality and dealing with sensitive issues
  • Understanding of total rewards strategies including unique benefits applying to mine sites in Australia
  • Experience with Workday, Teams and SharePoint is desired or other similar people management systems

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and guidance to employees and leaders in the interpretation and application of employee-related policies, practices and procedures, as well as laws if applicable
  • Be a trusted advisor to the leadership team within the Cat Technology group
  • Ability to lead local and global projects on people matters
  • In partnership with leaders, provide talent development solutions to improve employee engagement, leadership acumen and business results
  • Assist managers in addressing individual and organisational effectiveness issues
  • Partner with our talent attraction team and hiring managers to source top talent
