Requirements

  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, policies, and best practices in New Jersey
  • Experience managing employee relations, timekeeping, and HR processes independently
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficient in HRIS/ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and payroll/timekeeping tools
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Act as the sole HR point of contact for 2–3 warehouses in New Jersey, supporting 200–250 employees
  • Manage full-cycle HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
  • Review and approve employee timecards, attendance, and related compliance matters
  • Handle employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution in partnership with leadership
  • Provide HR guidance to managers on policies, procedures, and compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and workforce development activities
  • Partner with operations leadership to drive staffing strategy, workforce planning, and cost control
  • Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports as needed for leadership and compliance
