Requirements

3+ years of HR experience, preferably in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of HR laws, policies, and best practices in New Jersey
Experience managing employee relations, timekeeping, and HR processes independently
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Proficient in HRIS/ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and payroll/timekeeping tools
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
Ability to build strong relationships with employees and leadership
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Adaptable to fast-paced and dynamic warehouse environments

Responsibilities

Act as the sole HR point of contact for 2–3 warehouses in New Jersey, supporting 200–250 employees
Manage full-cycle HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
Review and approve employee timecards, attendance, and related compliance matters
Handle employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution in partnership with leadership
Provide HR guidance to managers on policies, procedures, and compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
Implement employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and workforce development activities
Partner with operations leadership to drive staffing strategy, workforce planning, and cost control
Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports as needed for leadership and compliance
