Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Master of Business (MBA) or other advanced professional degree (e.g. MPH, MD, JD, Ph.D.), with a graduation in Spring or Summer 2027
  • Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week for 12 weeks from May 18 to August 7, 2026
  • Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States either now or in the future
  • Minimum of three years of work experience prior to beginning graduate school
  • Demonstrated leadership experience through professional, academic, military, or extracurricular roles, showcasing the ability to lead teams, drive cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and deliver measurable results in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead meaningful strategic projects aligned with critical business initiatives across areas such as Treasury, Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, HR Strategy Advancement, or Total Rewards
  • Engage with senior leaders and peers through speaker series, fireside chats, and curated networking events
  • Participate in mentorship, coaching, and buddy support for professional and personal development
  • Attend hands-on workshops, certifications, and leadership training
  • Experience Humana’s culture through DEIB initiatives, well-being programs, and community volunteerism
  • Showcase work, receive structured feedback, and be considered for full-time roles or leadership programs post-internship
  • Travel to Louisville, KY for the first week of internship for orientation, and occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings as required
