Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a HR Business Facing role
  • Experience working in international and matrix environments
  • Excellent knowledge of Spanish labor law
  • Fluent Spanish and English (Italian would be a plus)
  • Knowledge of Portuguese labor law would be a plus
  • Demonstrable experience of setting direction, leading teams and driving change
  • Experience of healthcare companies preferable but not essential
  • Collaborative mindset: build and leverage cross-functional relationships
  • Effective communicator: create bridges through impactful, inclusive, and accurate communication
  • Self-motivated and autonomous: take ownership and drive productivity, change, and outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Act as HR interface with high-level stakeholders on critical business and organizational transformation, both inside and outside the region
  • Manage and mentor the HR Iberica team, guaranteeing alignment between regional and local teams, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative mindset
  • Design and implement initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, increase employee voice, and build an inclusive and inspiring workplace culture
  • Drive programs and tools to enhance manager capabilities, leadership effectiveness, and organizational performance
  • Partner with business leaders to identify and implement organizational development actions that enable agility, collaboration, and sustained performance
  • As part of the Regional HR Leadership: offer ideas and advice on the Regional Roadmap, drive development initiatives that can be replicated locally, and lead global business projects for the region
  • Leverage the CoE’s expertise and capacity and partner with them to offer the best employee and manager experience
  • Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on projects with impact in HR Operations, organizational performance, and workforce effectiveness
  • Ensure that HR processes are compliant with local laws and regulations and application of the applicable CBA
  • Lead, from an HR perspective, crisis response and business continuity efforts during critical periods
  • Oversee data cleaning, KPI production and reporting, and use HR analytics to measure and enhance employee engagement and organizational performance
  • Directly manage the relationship with the Local Works Council in Spain in parallel with Lega CoE, ensuring compliance between the company and employee representatives
  • Ensure a smooth delivery of HR Admin processes including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, payroll, policies updates
  • Represent HR function on project teams, at management meetings, and with external organizations
