Responsibilities

  • Designs, implements, and executes human resources strategies for business unit and functional groups

  • Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management
  • Serves as HR liaison in key projects
  • Oversees area of responsibility, managing performance, developing talent, engagement, and inclusion
  • Communicates business and operational developments, plans, prioritizes, and directs responsibilities of direct reports
  • Mentors, develops, and coaches staff on performance expectations and objectives
  • Provides leadership to staff, prioritizing strategic and departmental initiatives
  • Defines performance goals/targets, conducts performance reviews, and manages 1:1s for performance and development
  • Manages department(s) or small unit, providing motivational and technical leadership with high autonomy
  • Leads development of strategy for own department/business area, linking to company aims
  • Makes large business and strategic decisions impacting financial performance, employees, or public image
  • Manages budget or P&L for department, functional area, or geography
  • Drives innovation, improves processes/systems/products/services, and handles complex problems
  • Develops long-term strategic relationships with internal/external stakeholders
  • Communicates/briefs senior/executive leadership on operations and initiatives
