Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, including HR experience as a business partner with data, analysis, trends, and reports
  • Reside in Puerto Rico and be within reasonable commuting distance of Mayaguez, PR (2 KM 159 STE 301); able to work in-office 3-4 days per week
  • May require travel to Carelon Global Solutions offices in San Juan, Puerto Rico if needed

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement the end-to-end human capital strategy to drive the business to meet its goals
  • Partner with cross-functional HR centers of excellence to design and execute strategies for staffing, onboarding, development, motivation, retention, and organization of work
  • Execute programs to support associates, including career planning, performance management, leadership coaching, data analysis, and learning and development
  • Conduct organizational diagnoses, design and implement solutions to address root causes of organizational design and development issues
  • Ensure reward and recognition strategies are effective to attract and retain a high-quality workforce
  • Provide strategic HR support and counsel to business leaders on workforce planning, succession management, talent/organizational development, performance, organizational design, and change management
  • Provide insightful data to guide decision making, offer proactive solutions, and solve problems by getting to the root cause
  • Identify needs, analyze data, develop recommendations, and implement plans and projects to maximize workforce effectiveness
  • Drive analyses and understanding of the workforce to define current resource capabilities
  • Address staff relations problems, evaluate trends, and develop plans with business leaders to address trends
  • Design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines
  • Act as a change agent and promote innovation and continuous improvement
  • Extract meaningful information from different data sources to build narratives using data and visualizations to guide business and support decision making
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching to HR Consultants and/or other Human Resources Business Partners
