Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7 or more years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into HR strategies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and influence across all levels
  • Agile, flexible, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices
  • Preferred
  • Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
  • Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into actionable HR strategies
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on talent planning, organizational effectiveness, and workforce optimization
  • Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide initiatives while tailoring solutions for regional needs
  • Assess engagement trends and implement strategies that enhance motivation, well-being, and retention
  • Partner with leaders to identify, implement, and sustain programs that build leadership capabilities at all levels
  • Facilitate coaching, mentoring, and learning opportunities to support career growth and succession planning
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives by fostering a culture of recognition, inclusion, and continuous feedback
  • Model and reinforce Ketjen’s core values in all interactions and decision-making
  • Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through effective performance management processes
  • Coach leaders on goal setting, feedback, and employee development
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for complex employee relations matters
  • Lead and support change initiatives to enhance organizational agility and effectiveness
  • Partner with leadership to design and implement organizational structures that optimize performance
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve employee experience
  • Champion best practices and innovative HR solutions across the region
