Requirements

  • Keen understanding of business strategy, cross-functional internal stakeholder relations, and matrix structures
  • Deep HR experience, data analysis skills, and organizational agility
  • Ability to provide proactive consulting and coaching to business leaders
  • Experience supporting global teams across multiple geographies (Canada, US, Bermuda, France, Ireland, UK, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Singapore) with team sizes up to 200
  • Ability to guide and advise Executive Leadership Teams on trust, engagement, and HR support
  • Knowledge of aligning HR strategies and initiatives to business objectives within a Group framework
  • Expertise in performance management, succession planning, development planning, annual reviews, coaching, and career development
  • Experience in change management and organizational development initiatives/projects
  • Ability to provide pragmatic, consistent guidance on employee relations
  • Collaboration skills with HR functions (Staffing, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits) for recruitment, retention, and development plans
  • Leadership in enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives with cross-functional teams
  • Availability for hybrid on-site work (3 days/week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in Toronto

Responsibilities

  • Drive and implement HR Strategy supporting business goals for designated global business units
  • Provide dynamic HR solutions using experience, data analyses, and organizational agility for decision-making
  • Coach business leaders to support business unit goals and improve performance
  • Connect HR efforts/initiatives to business goals and build forward-looking HR programs, policies, and initiatives
  • Support growth and development of functional areas with teams up to 200 across multiple geographies
  • Guide Executive Leadership Team on creating trust and engagement to support the business
  • Align HR strategies and initiatives to business objectives per Group framework
  • Promote robust performance management, succession, and development planning processes, including annual reviews, coaching, and career development
  • Provide guidance to senior leadership on change management for key organizational development initiatives/projects
  • Offer pragmatic, consistent guidance to management and employees on employee relations
  • Collaborate with HR functions (Staffing, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits) to design/execute recruitment, retention, and development plans
  • Lead enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives with cross-functional teams
