Experience within retail, multi-unit or multi-state organization – Desired

Experience with investigation, analyzing and solving complex associate relations issues
Ability to work with and maintain confidential information

Act as a business partner to the management team (in the field) regarding people, social and organizational issues
Give direction to managers based on company policy, collective bargaining agreements, applicable laws and past practices
Provide careful review and approval of disciplinary actions/terminations and make recommendations for corrective action (may require on-site visits)
Analyze talent strategies/staffing levels
Execute succession plans
Partner with COEs for training and development
Facilitate performance management processes
Maintain compliance with internal/external standards (EEOC, Affirmative Action, OSHA, DOT, FTA, etc.)
Review/approve transfers, promotions, and pay increases
Lead key HR projects (e.g., turnover reduction, onboarding improvement)
Partner with business functions to ensure procedures and training are implemented and followed
