Requirements

  • Third level qualification, preferably in HR, Business or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of HR experience including talent acquisition and business partnering, preferably in financial services
  • Experience in the end-to-end talent acquisition process from screening to interviewing to offer stage
  • Experience working with Workday, preferably with supporting the roll out of employee and manager self-service
  • Proven track record of partnering with the business to align people and resources with commercial objectives
  • Outstanding organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without compromising quality or confidentiality
  • Comprehensive understanding of Irish employment legislation combined with proven ability to implement HR policies effectively
  • High level of discretion coupled with professionalism when handling confidential information or sensitive issues
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident enough to work independently but also work well with colleagues on a small team
  • Positive, resilient mindset and passion for delivering innovative, commercially focused HR solutions
  • Experience across all HR functions

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to People Managers across the full suite of HR activities, including talent acquisition, performance and talent management, change management, organizational effectiveness, skills development, learning, total rewards, and employee engagement
  • Ensure managers understand and consistently apply HR policies and procedures while contributing to policy reviews in line with evolving Irish employment law
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand needs, assist with job descriptions and advise on best hiring practices
  • Lead offer management, negotiations, and smooth onboarding handovers
  • Coach managers on handling sensitive or complex issues such as absence management, probation reviews, wellbeing concerns, and underperformance cases
  • Manage both informal and formal ER cases and liaise with employee representatives as needed
  • Provide business areas with relevant people and performance information, anticipate workforce changes, address HR challenges, mitigate risks and deliver strategic recommendations
  • Drive and deliver company-wide HR programs and initiatives and HR projects as they arise
