Requirements

2 years of previous work history/education required
Bartending positions - minimum 2 years experience, required
Bartending positions - minimum 21 years of age, required
Serving positions - minimum 1 year experience, required
Serving & Barista positions - minimum 18 years of age, required
Host & Busser positions - minimum 16 years old, required
Must communicate clearly in English
Work in a high volume and high paced environment
Experience in a restaurant setting, preferred
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s Service Excellence standards
For some positions, must have Colorado approved Alcohol Server Training certificate or must attend a Colorado approved alcohol server training educational seminar within 30 days of employment
For some positions, must have current Food Handler and Allergy training certificate, or must attend Food Handler and Aller-train certification courses for Alterra Mountain company within 14 days of employment

Responsibilities

Maintain good customer relations; interact with customers in a pleasant but professional manner
Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times
Follow proper etiquette guidelines while interacting with the guests and respond to all guests in a courteous, efficient manner
Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
