Preferred qualifications include buy and bill/injectable product experience, oncology experience, and familiarity with hospital sales and the P&T/formulary process.
The Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist will develop and execute strategic business plans for a large geographical area to build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. This role involves calling on physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists in various medical subspecialties and settings, including physician offices, hospital pharmacies, and operating rooms. The specialist must effectively communicate complex clinical information, manage a hybrid mix of in-person and virtual engagements, and utilize data to maximize sales strategies and ROI. Key duties include achieving or exceeding sales targets and managing territory-specific information through a CRM system.
