Requirements
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in single-family home maintenance or construction, or a mix of single-family home and apartment or complex maintenance. A valid driver's license is required, and licensed general contractors, electricians, and plumbers are highly encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills, proficiency in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks, and expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting home appliances and systems are essential. Comfort with installing and modifying Wi-Fi, smart locks, and other smart home devices is also necessary, along with a detail-oriented approach and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
As a Lead Handyman, you will tackle various tasks for members, including fixes and troubleshooting, furniture assembly, caulking, grouting, patching, painting, and installation of smart home devices. You will perform small electrical and plumbing jobs, conduct regular home maintenance tasks such as changing air filters and checking gutters, and manage 40 homes within a single area, becoming a trusted part of the community. Additionally, you may perform special services as needed, like hanging holiday lights or power washing patios.
