- Deliver GOLD club standards daily (Grand opening look, stocked items, promotional plans executed, accurate signage, clean/organized)
- Understand production/financial performance reporting for department
- Operate and handle deli equipment per safety policies/procedures
Responsibilities
- Provide high level of customer service to Members: answer questions, recommend deli items, answer calls, take special orders
- Slice, package, weigh deli products (cheeses, meats); help Members select products; sample products; prepare/package special orders and party trays
- Receive and inspect deli shipments
- Display, stock, rotate, store deli products per food safety, freshness, handling policies
- Ensure products are fresh and meet quality standards; check for out-of-date products daily; follow salvage policies
- Ensure deli cooler shelves and display cases have wide variety of product; stock/rotate as necessary
- Clean and sanitize deli equipment and food surfaces (rotisserie ovens, utensils, refrigerated cases, deli cooler)
- Ensure scale systems are in operation (inferred from incomplete description)
