Hides Maintenance Generalist - Dept. 450 at Tyson Foods

Maintenance crews typically work 4-5 days per week with 2-3 days off, including shifts on Sundays and some major holidays when necessary. Must be available to work C shift (overnight), and all shifts include Sunday work and overtime as scheduled.

A minimum of 1 year mechanic work experience or graduation from an industrial maintenance training program is required. The role involves troubleshooting with hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, conveyor maintenance, 3-phase wiring, AC/DC control wiring, welding, and pneumatic systems. Proficiency in reading, writing, and effective communication across management levels is also needed.

Work environments are wet and humid with temperatures ranging from 35 to 90+ degrees. Physical requirements include climbing ladders, working from elevated platforms, standing and walking on hard floors, and occasional lifting of 60 lbs.

Document at least 1 year of mechanic work experience in the work history section of the application or note graduation from an industrial maintenance training program. Highlight proficiency in reading/writing, communication skills, and any welding experience, as it is preferred.
