Requirements

  • Experience with Siemens X-ray/Vascular products (Axiom Artis, Artis Zee, Artis Q, Artis Zeego, Pheno, and Icono)
  • Experience with Rad, R & F, Portable X-Ray (mobilette family) preferred
  • Field experience providing technical support to Field Engineers (FSE’s), Client Service Technicians (CST’s), and Customers
  • Knowledge of modality products, service expertise, and tools
  • Experience with GEHC escalation process
  • Experience with "Gameplan" tool
  • Experience contributing to Problem Solution Database (PSDB)
  • Experience with business process improvement
  • Experience with remote service capabilities
  • Experience coaching and training Field Engineers
  • Knowledge of Networking / Dicom / Insite / PACS / OS field service experience
  • Experience using Siebal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other remote tools

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and on-site technical support for Siemens X-ray/Vascular products
  • Utilize field experience and knowledge to provide technical support to FSE’s, CST’s, and customers
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of modality products, service expertise, and tools
  • Utilize the GEHC escalation process to resolve customer issues
  • Utilize the "Gameplan" tool to drive service effectiveness
  • Contribute knowledge articles to the Problem Solution Database (PSDB)
  • Contribute to the improvement of productivity tools
  • Support Material controls and Purchased Service cost reduction initiatives
  • Act as a change agent/field "advisor" in areas such as product serviceability and reliability
  • Manage and support improvements in business processes
  • Coach and train FSE’s to ensure technical and customer skills are up to date
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for FSE modality training
  • Identify field process improvements
  • Identify field quality improvements
  • Travel to customer sites to support field coaching, mentoring, and customer escalations
  • Maintain and enhance modality knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with GE Healthcare (GEHC) Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations
