Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in clearinghouses, healthcare information systems, or related healthcare transaction experience. In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry and clearinghouses within revenue cycle is required, including expertise in Product Management, Healthcare, Agile, and the delivery of SaaS applications. Familiarity with ANSI X12/EDI transaction sets and non-confirming content is critical, as is experience driving new concepts around build, buy, partner models, and developing innovative products and services. A data-driven product professional with experience shipping products in a matrix environment is also necessary.
The Healthcare Platform Product Owner will support Clearing House platform technology and performance to ensure delivery of content to existing solutions, new products, and product enhancements aligned with the clearing house's go-to-market strategies. They will work with Product and Engineering teams from a technical perspective and contribute to business process improvement projects, partnerships, and product marketing success. The role involves identifying opportunities to scale, enhance, and leverage Experian Health’s resources, collaborating effectively with Product and Engineering counterparts, and contributing to the success of the Platform Team and affiliated Engineering and Product members. This includes using market intelligence, regulatory shifts, and feedback to support backlog grooming, prioritization, and sequencing of product enhancements, writing product requirements, communicating priorities for sprint and release plans, managing backlog refinement and retrospectives, and working with Development to prioritize sprints and Product Management for prioritization input.
