Requirements

Successfully completed technical studies or comparable training with a technician, engineering, or master certificate
Qualification as Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (according to ASiG) with initial experience in Health & Safety
Training as Brandschutzbeauftragte*r is advantageous but not mandatory
Ability to securely apply safety-technical laws, regulations, and guidelines
Keeps independently up-to-date on innovations in occupational and fire protection and is enthusiastic about acquiring additional HSE qualifications (e.g., Immissionsschutzbeauftragter, Gefahrstoffbeauftragter)

Responsibilities

Lead Safety Specialists and Betriebssanitäter*innen professionally
Ensure smooth and safe processes together with the team and strengthen the health and safety culture at the site
Represent the Safety Lead at the site on all important topics
Support operations in fulfilling occupational safety goals and actively improve the safety concept
Ensure full compliance with legal requirements for occupational safety, health protection, fire protection, and environmental protection, working closely with occupational safety experts
Advise managers and employees on all aspects of occupational safety, health protection, fire protection, and environmental protection, e.g., in redesigning workplaces and processes
Responsible for building, developing, and maintaining emergency concepts and reporting systems
Create evaluations and reports on central safety key figures and initiate prevention measures in coordination with management to achieve measurable goals
Maintain cooperation with the Berufsgenossenschaft, local authorities, fire department, company doctor, and works council
Organize training for first aiders, fire protection and evacuation helpers
Act as interface and contact person for cross-departmental projects and represent the safety department at important events, e.g., ASA meetings
