Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field; advanced degree or Lean certification a plus
10+ years of experience in manufacturing or fulfillment operations, plant leadership, or industrial production roles
Strong Lean Manufacturing background; Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
Proven ability to define, document, and scale processes in fast-paced production environments
Demonstrated success in building teams, establishing metrics, and driving continuous improvement
Highly process-oriented, with a passion for operational discipline and efficiency
Experience in automotive, film, printing, or light manufacturing environments
Background in high-mix, high-velocity operations such as an Amazon Fulfillment Center or equivalent
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and drive accountability
Exposure to prototype builds and launch environments

Responsibilities

Launch and oversee operations of the wrap kit production facility, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and financial targets are met
Hire, train, and develop shift staff and operations leadership to build a high-performing production team
Define plant processes — from material flow and layout to work instructions and quality checkpoints
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics of the wrap kit production facility, along with inventory management within the plant
Lead time trials and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, increase throughput, and optimize labor and material efficiency
Implement Lean and Six Sigma practices, embedding a culture of data-driven decision making and continuous improvement
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth new wrap introductions and process changes
Own operational metrics (OEE, yield, uptime, cycle time) and develop mechanisms for transparent performance tracking and accountability
Drive operational excellence, balancing startup agility with world-class manufacturing discipline
