Requirements

  • 8+ years in spacecraft systems engineering and AIT leadership roles
  • Deep experience with minimal requirement flowdown, ICDs, verification, and validation plans
  • Proven ability to build and manage integration labs and flight hardware campaigns
  • Expertise in environmental testing (TVAC, vibe, EMI/EMC)
  • Strong leadership and team development skills in fast-paced environments as a people manager and technical coach

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Systems Engineering team through concept, design, delivery and operations phases
  • Own end-to-end system requirements, interface control, verification and validation
  • Direct AIT activities: spacecraft build, functional testing, and environmental campaigns
  • Ensure configuration control and design traceability across the entire hardware lifecycle
  • Drive integration between electrical, mechanical, RF, software, and mission operations teams
  • Implement streamlined, scalable AIT processes for rapid constellation deployment
  • Tailoring processes, requirements and configurations to balance risk with cost/schedule/performance that aligns with our startup culture
