Responsibilities

  • Pre-launch
  • Develop and implement a marketing plan: Analyze external environments through market research, collaboration with relevant functions, and external interactions including commercial Advisory board meetings
  • Identify key issues, barriers, and Key Success Factors
  • Build strategies and detailed tactics including an annual calendar, events, trainings and promotional materials
  • Develop and provide extensive sales trainings on diseases, product, account opening etc. in collaboration with Commercial Excellence and Medical Affairs
  • Develop and track KPIs with Commercial Excellence
  • Plan and implement pre-launch external activities including building relationship with KOLs in collaboration with Medical Affairs and Public Affairs and Communications
  • Manage projects on material development and other activities
  • Conduct necessary internal and external procedures
  • Attend domestic and international major scientific meetings (mostly with support of Director)
  • Present the plan to Global Team, Japan Leadership Team and relevant functions
  • Forecast and manage promotional costs and production
  • Post-launch
  • On top of pre-launch activities: Lead post-launch cross-functional brand meetings
  • Identify room for improvement/growth of relevant functions and figure out how to fill the gaps
  • Maintain and develop relationships with KOLs and scientific societies
  • General
  • Responsible for the business of the gene therapy drug to be launched, including development and implementation of a business plan (independently and/or with support/under supervision of Director)
