Requirements

Expert in modern infrastructure technology with experience in high-availability cloud platforms for SaaS companies
Experience with the company’s specific tech stack (preferred)
Understanding of regulatory frameworks like GDPR, ISO27k, etc
Advocate for AI technologies and staying up-to-date with modern technologies
Solid understanding of networking, storage, security, containerization, and orchestration
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, automation), and creating developer golden paths

Responsibilities

Develop and implement infrastructure strategies and solutions, including networks, cloud services, databases, and storage systems
Ensure systems are scalable, secure, compliant, efficient, and performant
Utilize agile processes and practices for planning, discovery, delivery, and support
Collaborate with Engineering squads on complex, transversal initiatives and continuously improve the developer experience
Lead incident response efforts, investigating and resolving infrastructure-related issues
Follow up on post-mortem actions and champion this across the business
Manage budget and resources for infrastructure projects and operational environments
Lead cloud cost optimization strategy
Ensure the Platform is available for both customers and engineers, meeting SLAs/SLOs
Identify and address bottlenecks that might impede scaling
Implement disaster recovery projects
Manage and grow engineers through 1:1s, performance reviews, and objectives
Ensure high-quality work and sustainable practices
Facilitate learning and development for engineers
Collaborate closely with other engineering teams, product managers, and business leaders to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs and growth
