Requirements

  • Experience or deep knowledge in the payments and/or fintech space, with a track record of guiding teams through complex, high-scale systems

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple engineering teams within the Treasury domain, managing managers and senior engineers
  • Shape the technical direction of the platform, combining strategic direction with hands-on technical guidance, especially in architectural decision-making
  • Report directly to the CPTO and participate as part of the Runa Leadership Group (RLG)
  • Advance innovation, efficiency, and operational excellence, ensuring teams deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-paced fintech environment
  • Support teams to drive modern engineering practices and scale systems with resilience, performance, and security at the core
  • Manage, mentor, and scale high-performing teams of engineering managers and IC’s
  • Drive architectural direction and ensure technical initiatives are aligned with company objectives
  • Collaborate with product, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver strategic roadmaps
  • Embed best-practice engineering principles and foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and innovation
