Requirements

Experience or deep knowledge in the payments and/or fintech space, with a track record of guiding teams through complex, high-scale systems
Demonstrated success supporting managers as well as senior IC’s, with a passion for coaching and driving high performance

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple engineering teams within the Treasury domain, managing managers and senior engineers
Shape the technical direction of the platform, combining strategic direction with hands-on technical guidance, especially in architectural decision-making
Report directly to the CPTO and participate as part of the Runa Leadership Group (RLG)
Advance innovation, efficiency, and operational excellence, ensuring teams deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-paced fintech environment
Support teams to drive modern engineering practices and scale systems with resilience, performance, and security at the core
Manage, mentor, and scale high-performing teams of engineering managers and IC’s
Drive architectural direction and ensure technical initiatives are aligned with company objectives
Collaborate with product, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver strategic roadmaps
Embed best-practice engineering principles and foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and innovation
