Requirements

Candidates must be senior software engineering leaders (Director/VP+) with 15+ years of experience managing engineering teams and coaching individuals. Prior experience at technology companies is a plus. Candidates must be self-aware, possess a high emotional IQ, and be comfortable in a startup environment. A minimum commitment of 12+ hours per month for 24+ months is required, with the capacity for 3-5 hours per week. Candidates must be based in North America or Europe and complete an ICF-certified coach training program.

Responsibilities

Coaches will form 1:1 partnerships with members to help them identify and track goals, improve leadership skills, enhance communication, and problem-solve workplace issues. Responsibilities include providing virtual coaching sessions, participating in ongoing training, communicating with members between sessions, sharing coaching tools and insights within the Mento community, and acting as an ambassador for the Mento community with kindness, respect, and empathy.
