Responsibilities

  • Under the guidance of Director & General Manager, produce short-term (one year) and long-term (3-5 years) business plans for operations, monitor performance, and update as appropriate
  • Monitor CTD overall deliverables for global and Indian accounts
  • Manage and control the yearly approved budget, seek measures to reduce operating costs, and improve performance
  • Assess clinical protocols and client study specifications with CTD Solution Group, Clinical Supplies, Operations, and Procurement to design solutions
  • Work closely with clients' outsourcing and technical teams via meetings and teleconferences to build rapport, understand future pipeline, and ensure repeat business
  • Review budgets from business development or project teams, ensuring availability and approval for all studies
  • Ensure all quality metrics and programs are maintained while meeting goals and targets; assist in promoting a quality culture across CTD
  • Provide monthly activity completion reports to finance for revenue recognition and invoicing
  • Participate in preparing AOP, track it monthly, and provide quarterly forecasts based on new business and backlog
  • Participate in client meetings, bid support meetings, and teleconferences as appropriate
  • Provide inputs into writing and reviewing departmental SOPs
  • Investigate and report on internal GMP conferences; assist in investigations related to assigned studies
  • Ensure adequate manpower resources with required expertise
  • Ensure use of project planning tools to communicate milestones, critical paths, and responsibilities
  • Ensure timely provision of reports and information to clients through PMs
  • Ensure customer interface aspects (project management, business development, quality) are supported by CS PM Staff
  • Supervise planning, organizing, executing, and reporting of project-related activities
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring activities meet client requirements in a timely manner
  • Escalate and resolve technical and non-technical issues related to labeling and packaging projects to department heads
  • Any other job responsibilities assigned by Director & GM
