Requirements

Candidates should possess a valid driver’s license, have completed 40-hour HAZWOPER training, and demonstrate the ability to use heavy and light equipment such as forklifts, pallet-jacks, and pumps. They should also be skilled in using hand and shop tools, instruments, and possess accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail, along with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

The Environmental Services Field Technician will perform operational functions relating to emergency response and hazardous and non-hazardous spill clean-up and Hazmat Decon work, including confined space entry, oil spill cleanup, drum handling, decontamination, sweeping, shoveling, high-pressure washing, and remedial activities. They will operate light and heavy equipment, respond to customer spills and emergencies, conduct pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections, maintain vehicle logs, perform general housekeeping, and perform other related duties as assigned.
