Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading shipments according to procedure to prevent damage to customer goods or other materials
  • Operating forklift and other lifting and transporting equipment to assist in sorting shipments
  • Scanning shipments in the unloading, loading, and sorting process
  • Directly reporting damaged/improper packaging and/or opened shipments to the Operations Supervisor
  • In some cases, applying correct routing labels to shipments
  • Efficiently organizing assigned work and optimally using available resources
  • Keeping the warehouse clean during work
