Responsibilities

Loading and unloading shipments according to procedure to prevent damage to customer goods or other materials
Operating forklift and other lifting and transporting equipment to assist in sorting shipments
Scanning shipments in the unloading, loading, and sorting process
Directly reporting damaged/improper packaging and/or opened shipments to the Operations Supervisor
In some cases, applying correct routing labels to shipments
Efficiently organizing assigned work and optimally using available resources
Keeping the warehouse clean during work
