Requirements

  • Willing to work two (2) days per week, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with a fixed schedule throughout the entire winter season
  • Detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys a challenge/mystery
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills, including email, web browsing, and Microsoft Word
  • Knowledge of operating smartphones and GoPros/cameras
  • Ability and willingness to learn and develop proficiency with RTP sales system, Reclaim Hub, and any other necessary technology
  • Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management

Responsibilities

  • Share the Steamboat Dream
  • Provide exceptional guest service by anticipating and exceeding guest expectations in the friendliest and most helpful manner possible
  • Greet and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner
  • Open/close Lost & Found department
  • Document guest and employee misplaced, lost, and stolen personal items and equipment in online computer database
  • Answer Lost & Found phones and emails and promptly respond to messages daily
  • Document found items in online computer database (Reclaim Hub)
  • Match reported lost items and found items with rightful owners
  • Return lost items in-person and through mail carriers
  • Properly dispose of found items through recycling, donation, and destruction after retention period expires in accordance with SSRC written protocol
  • Provide up-to-date product information to guests
  • Conduct daily rounds throughout the base area to pick up items
  • Other duties as assigned
