Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the design and development of wiring harness systems for automotive applications
  • Utilize CAD tools such as CATIA, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks to create detailed wiring harness designs
  • Manage design changes throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to change control processes and procedures
  • Generate and release engineering drawings, schematics, and charts in accordance with internal standards and industry regulations
  • Participate in all phases of product development, including concept design, prototyping, testing, and validation
  • Utilize PLM software to manage product data, documentation, and revisions throughout the product lifecycle
  • Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with engineering specifications
  • Coordinate changes to the BOM and communicate updates to relevant teams and suppliers
