Position Overview

Reddit is seeking a Growth Builder to join its Growth Builders Program. This program aims to strengthen the ecosystem of local communities on Reddit, with a primary focus on Asia-based countries, specifically Singapore and Thailand. As a Growth Builder, you will be instrumental in growing multiple communities, analyzing the market landscape, and collaborating with organizations to foster thriving communities. You will serve as the primary point of contact for AMAs and external partners.

You will become a key member of the team, contributing to Growth Operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Curation and Community. Your role will involve proactively identifying emerging trends, significant moments, and opportunities to enhance community engagement and accelerate subreddit growth.

Responsibilities

• Metric Analysis: Deeply understand core growth metrics and develop actionable plans based on this understanding.
• Community Setup: Support partners in the setup of new subreddits.
• AMA Execution: Drive the end-to-end logistics and execution of Reddit AMAs (Ask Me Anything).
• Subreddit Culture: Develop a thorough understanding of the culture within focus subreddits.
• Content Creation: Write announcement posts and content in a style that resonates with Redditors.
• Data Analysis & Research: Support data analysis and ad-hoc research efforts to inform growth strategies.
• Product Feedback: Provide feedback on product aspects, including user onboarding, new feature launches, and more.

Requirements

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and present findings clearly.
• Partner Management: Experience working with external partners and pitching initiatives.
• Reddit Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of how Reddit functions and user expectations.
• Local Expertise: A thorough understanding of the target country, including its language and culture.
• Local Ecosystem: A good understanding of the local Reddit ecosystem.
• Interest in Verticals: Interest in various topic verticals such as cinema, celebrities, gaming, etc.
