Candidates should possess at least 2+ years of experience selling or retaining within the employer group insurance environment, along with an active life and health license, and demonstrate strong client management and business acumen. They should also have an understanding of employer procurement processes and be able to develop positive, collaborative client relationships.
The Group Retention Executive will oversee customer account management for existing 2 – 99 ancillary accounts, including negotiating contracts and agreements, building relationships with brokers and agents, achieving retention sales goals and add on sales goals for defined book of business, and developing and overseeing customer retention campaigns. Additionally, they will serve as a liaison between assigned clients and Humana internal areas for escalated issues, represent Humana at community events, associations, and industry organizations, and understand department, segment, and organizational strategy. They will also make decisions regarding their own work methods and follow established guidelines and procedures.
