Requirements

  • Skills in defining and communicating product portfolio vision, maintaining roadmaps, and emphasizing fast-paced new product development for hardware and software
  • Proficiency in partnering cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and customer experience teams to develop go-to-market strategies and operational plans
  • Experience serving as Product Owner for cross-functional collaboration on connected services, user experience, consumer insights, and business cases
  • Knowledge of ensuring processes for quality, cost, and delivery in cross-functional marketing teams, with ability to identify and implement improvements
  • Comfort interfacing with analysts, media/PR, industry conferences, customers, competitors, trade associations, government agencies, and professional societies
  • Ability to lead development of after-sales and service strategies with Customer Experience and Marketing teams
  • Competence in providing product content guidance, prioritization, facilitating scrum activities, and executing timelines

Responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate, and implement product strategy for assigned business unit product portfolio; deliver brand strategy, product portfolio management, integrated marketing planning, and pricing strategies; lead and provide oversight for product category strategy
  • Drive annual and multi-year operating plans and results for product portfolio, aligned to Chamberlain Group business objectives; track financial performance; ensure organizational alignment
  • Support achievement of full P&L objectives for the business unit, driving profitability, volume growth, and market share, as well as execution of products and services
  • Lead team of product managers to achieve product portfolio average net selling price and gross margin by recommending and implementing pricing objectives, strategies, and guardrails
  • Define and communicate product portfolio vision in support of business unit strategy, including maintaining clear product roadmap with focus on new product development, sustaining support, hardware/software, and user experiences
  • Develop and implement strategy for product offering, brand, and channels; partner with marketing, sales, and customer experience leaders for go-to-market strategies and operational plans
  • Serve as Product Owner leading cross-functional collaboration to develop and deliver connected services; own implementation and sustaining of end-user connected experience, including insights, UX requirements, business cases, and value propositions
  • Ensure cross-functional marketing team has processes for managing quality, cost, and delivery; identify improvements, propose to leadership, and ensure action
  • Interface with analysts, media/PR outlets, key industry conferences to educate on vision, strategy, and innovations; represent company with customers, competitors, trade associations, government agencies, and professional societies
  • Lead development of after-sales and service strategy to cultivate and support customers long-term, with Customer Experience and Marketing teams
  • Provide product content guidance and prioritization, integrated marketing planning, pricing strategies, facilitate/lead daily scrum activities, and execute against timelines
