  • Support for company initiatives, Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating production activity in assigned work areas to ensure continuous processing per build schedules
  • Coordinate communication of work instructions to personnel in designated areas per supervisory objectives
  • Ensure quality and production goals are met
  • Perform regular process and quality performance audits of personnel, tooling, and equipment in assigned areas
  • Advise supervisor or appropriate contacts in event of equipment failure
  • Accumulate information for assigned areas on work in process inventory status and daily output quantities
  • Provide direct training to area operators as required
  • Provide feedback on defects encountered and re-training support as necessary
  • Assist in expediting priority products and tasks in assigned areas
  • Perform inspection and determine disposition of rejected components per required documentation, as directed
  • Coordinate purchase requests for equipment and services
  • Resolve and/or facilitate resolution of problems, including identifying causes to prevent re-occurrence
  • Conduct daily meetings with manufacturing operators for better communication and continuous improvement
  • Ensure PM (preventive maintenance) and Calibration stickers are up to date
  • Perform 5S audits and participate in weekly meetings with other area value stream group leads
  • Conduct BBSP Observations
  • Help with employee needs (e.g., training and Employee Self Service)
  • Support all Company initiatives as identified by management in support of QMS, EMS, and other regulatory requirements
  • Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other regulatory requirements
