Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986
  • Pass a Criminal Background Check
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum one (1) year Customer Service experience (airline industry experience preferred)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • People oriented, highly motivated with a positive and friendly attitude
  • Communicate with internal and external customers with professionalism and integrity
  • Well groomed and adhere to dress code policy
  • Work efficiently under time constraints
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Allegiant Customer Service and Ground Operations procedures knowledge preferred
  • Basic computer skills preferred
  • General knowledge of office equipment preferred
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, use hands/fingers for tools/equipment; lift, push, pull, or carry up to 300 lbs.; work various shifts in 24-hour environment; regular attendance

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide operational support to airport Ground Operations/Customer Service (Cross-Utilized) Agents consistent with company policy and federal/state regulations
  • Perform ground operations, aircraft cleaning, security, operations, and commissary duties as required
  • Coordinate and direct duties and activities of Customer Service/Ground Operations (Cross-Utilized) agents
  • Interface with supervisors, leads, and all departments to address/correct service issues and ensure quality of service
  • Ensure all company safety rules (including dangerous goods handling and awareness) are adhered to
  • Report safety hazards and incidents to supervisor
  • Perform functions of a Customer Service/Ground Operations (Cross-Utilized) Agent, including working flexible hours (nights, weekends, holidays) and staying for irregular operations
  • Assign employees to work specific job functions as needed
  • Provide information on arrival/departure times, boarding procedures, carry-on regulations, and seating arrangements
  • Ensure FAA, Allegiant Air, and airport regulations are followed
  • Assist customers with special needs (e.g., boarding assistance)
  • Load and unload baggage and co-mail of various weights/dimensions to/from aircraft and airport baggage areas
  • Marshal in planes and push back aircraft
  • Operate heavy motorized machinery/equipment (e.g., tugs, tractors, belt loaders, bag carts, push-back tractors, deicers)
  • Lead by example and motivate team members
  • Coordinate, provide training, and ensure training requirements are met for all employees (new hires, recurrent, supplemental, local)
  • Other duties as assigned
