This role is considered Hybrid, meaning the employee will work 2-3 days onsite at a Company designated location and occasionally from home.
The Groom Supervisor creates fur/feather/hair grooms for characters and creatures, supervises and directs a team of artists, ensures quality control and delivery of grooms, drives groom schedules, and guides artists' professional development.
Candidates need experience in leading and mentoring teams, all aspects of groom work in a production pipeline, creation of fur/feather/hair grooms using off-the-shelf and proprietary tools, and driving groom technology and workflows.
The role serves as a role model for the Groom team, fostering a collaborative team environment, guiding professional development, facilitating team building, and maintaining positive morale.
