Responsibilities

  • Acts as communication liaison between Caterpillar, the federal government and other project partners. Coordinates contract negotiations among project participants. Works with government agencies and award subrecipients on non-technical aspects of contract administration
  • Reviews opportunity announcements for compliance requirements, identifies appropriate compliance measures and advises technical teams on implementation. Performs on-going monitoring of compliance adherence of internal and external project participants
  • Prepares, compiles and submits materials to government agencies including white papers, proposals, expense records, and required periodic progress reports. Communicates content prepared by technical teams to the government
  • Provides guidance and coaching to technical teams on regulation compliance, timeline adherence, and budget performance
  • Coordinates the administration of research and development agreements between Caterpillar, the federal government, and other project participants
