Requirements

Candidates should possess a minimum of 7 years of technical sales or experience in the golf/turf industry, and a preferred Bachelor’s degree in turf management, turf science, or a related field. Strong public speaking skills, interpersonal skills, and general mathematical aptitude are also required.

Responsibilities

The Golf Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the assigned territory to achieve fiscal year sales goals, driving business through personal efforts and coordination with distributor partners, collaborating with cross-functional teams, coordinating with the National Sales Manager to influence regional golf specifiers, supporting product information provision, identifying and coordinating efforts on Top 10 Projects, traveling with and developing distributor sales personnel, managing the SalesForce database, providing distributor golf sales forecasts, assessing and reporting on the regional market, and communicating with Toro golf marketing staff. They will also coordinate the distributor planning process and deliver high-level presentations to superintendents and general managers.
