Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic leadership within weather/climate, geospatial, or scientific computing sectors
  • Deep knowledge of numerical weather prediction, Earth system modeling, or climate analytics
  • Strong executive presence and collaborator engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with scientists, policymakers, and business leaders
  • Understanding of AI, high-performance computing (HPC), or cloud-based modeling frameworks (strongly preferred)
  • Passion for sustainability, scientific integrity, and global impact
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Atmospheric Science, Climate Science, Geosciences, or a related technical field
  • Familiarity with major climate datasets and modeling tools
  • Experience with cloud-native data processing, GPU-accelerated modeling, or AI/ML tools in environmental sciences
  • Global perspective with experience working across regions such as North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific

Responsibilities

  • Leading NVIDIA’s global go-to-market strategy for the weather and climate sector, ensuring magnificent execution
  • Building and growing strategic partnerships with governments, meteorological agencies, climate scientists, and research institutions
  • Identifying and developing commercial opportunities across diverse sectors such as insurance, agriculture, energy, transportation, and emergency response
  • Collaborating closely with NVIDIA’s engineering, product, and developer relations teams to translate customer needs into future innovations
  • Representing NVIDIA at global climate forums, summits, and technical workshops, contributing to crafting the global climate and sustainability agenda
