Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with company goals and objectives
  • Be responsible for sourcing & procurement for EE components
  • Be responsible for supplier management, price negotiation, and cost reduction
  • Be responsible for new supplier selection
  • Be responsible for the negotiation with suppliers on contract/agreements and business terms
  • Gather and analyze information about the market, including competitors, customers, trends, and products
  • Provide supplier roadmap and market trend & analysis to internal customers on a regular basis
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal customers and external partners & suppliers
  • Interact with key business leaders and managers/buyers to proactively identify potential sourcing opportunities
  • Drive saving initiatives for the responsible category
  • Work on long-term component capacity planning and identifying sourcing bottlenecks
