Requirements

  • Management and supervisory experience with one or more employees, typically six or more direct reports
  • Expertise in interpreting policies, regulatory, governmental, and internal regulations to ensure compliance
  • Experience in quality assurance programs, systems, processes, and procedures in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare/medical devices)
  • Strong leadership skills in managing performance, developing talent, engagement, inclusion, and employee development
  • Ability to conduct performance reviews, 1:1s, mentoring, coaching, and guide staff toward departmental goals

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
  • Provide expertise and guidance on policies, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Work directly with operating entities to provide process analyses oversight and enforce regulatory requirements
  • Lead audit and inspection preparation, resolution of findings, and liaison with auditing groups and inspectors
  • Prepare reports and documentation (e.g., Corrective and Preventative Actions) for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate legal requests in support of government investigations or litigations
  • Ensure quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly
  • Facilitate uniform standards worldwide and enable best practice sharing to achieve company mission globally
  • Oversee area of responsibility, manage performance, develop talent, foster engagement and inclusion, communicate business developments, plan, prioritize, and direct direct reports
  • Achieve goals through performance of direct and indirect reports, including defining performance goals, conducting reviews, and managing toward departmental objectives
