Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no employment visa sponsorship)
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time to customers
  • 8+ years of Project or Program Management experience (preferred)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI (preferred)
  • Strong customer-facing skills at various levels of customer organization (preferred)
  • Experience working within a complex organizational framework, ensuring alignment of project deliverables with client expectations and internal standards (preferred)
  • Understanding of Rockwell's organizational structure from distribution and sales to product & services businesses, as well as common processes like cost estimation, proposal development, and project delivery (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of Rockwell Automation core products (preferred)
  • Experience in integrating emerging technologies and adapting to evolving customer needs (preferred)
  • Commercial experience and knowledge working directly with End User, OEM, and Channel Customers (preferred)
  • Excel in project and program management
  • Understand applications and market trends in at least one global industry (e.g., Automotive, Tire, Warehouse, Life Sciences, CPG, Oil & Gas, Mining)
  • Knowledgeable about Rockwell Automation products used in that sector

Responsibilities

  • Manage the program from Engagement, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Controlling to Closing
  • Engage stakeholders and synthesize technical and commercial goals
  • Assess risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful program outcomes
  • Apply globally accepted Program Management processes
  • Lead remote and diverse global teams
  • Manage indirect global and geographic resources on program related activities with defined project objectives including OEM coordination
  • Coordinate program related activities of global and regional domain experts and technical project goals
  • Manage POV (Package of Value) financial activities
  • Facilitate and document meetings both internally with the Global Account (GA) and Strategic Account (SA) sales teams
  • Work with the EA and SA teams to develop opportunity pursuit plans
  • Leverage data-driven insights and industry best practices to support decision making and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
  • Understand machine design, machine control and coordinate control architecture from component level of products to architecture level of products
  • Manage customer programs to drive the adoption of Rockwell Automation's products and services within Global Industry Accounts
  • Understand and manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders to achieve success of projects and strategic initiatives
  • Strengthen Rockwell's partnership with the customer and the supply chain ecosystem
