Requirements

  • Ability to manage product business performance to meet or exceed revenue, profitability, and growth targets with minimal coaching
  • Capability to smoothly drive NPD projects, including defining PRD according to customer needs and utilizing the MMP LEX tool to pass milestones
  • Ability to independently generate and review revenue, profit, and growth targets and forecasts based on market share, product dynamics, and market trends
  • Ability to independently generate global strategic plans including the 4P’s of marketing (Product, Price, Place, Promotion)
  • Capability to independently generate competitor analysis and monitoring, including planning and executing responses to competitor activities
  • Proactive ability to research and communicate new potential product improvements, including preparing business cases for future enhancements
  • Ability to drive customer focus throughout ideation to commercialization, integrating insights from market trends, competition, and customer needs
  • Ability to develop strategy, tactics, sales tools, and training for selling against competition, and work closely with sales management to deploy growth initiatives
  • Capability to communicate risks and changes in NPD and product life cycle management to key stakeholders, and collaborate with global or cross-functional teams to mitigate identified risks

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full life cycle of products from idea conception to market withdrawal, leading cross-functional teams to maximize product contribution through optimal market positioning and achievement of revenue, profitability, and growth targets
  • Manage product business performance to ensure the product line meets or exceeds target revenue, profitability, and growth targets
  • Drive NPD projects, defining PRD according to customer needs and utilizing the MMP LEX tool to pass milestones
  • Independently generate and review revenue, profit, and growth targets and forecasts for the product line
  • Independently generate the global strategic plan for the product line, including the 4P’s of marketing
  • Conduct competitor analysis and monitoring, planning and executing responses to competitor activities
  • Research and communicate new potential product improvements, preparing business cases for future enhancements
  • Drive customer focus in each step of the ideation to commercialization process, integrating market trends, competition, and customer needs
  • Develop strategy, tactics, sales tools, and training for selling against competition, and collaborate with sales management on growth initiatives
  • Communicate with key stakeholders on risks and changes in NPD and product life cycle management, driving mitigations with global or cross-functional stakeholders
