Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience in similar roles
  • Advanced knowledge in PLC & HMI, programming and scripting language (C#, JavaScript, HTML & CSS, PowerShell…), Data Exchange and Communication, Cloud and virtualization or Cybersecurity
  • Willingness to travel up to 70%
  • Able to understand complex processes and overall Machine design and interactions (preferred)
  • Relevant industry/segment application knowledge for the focus industry/segment (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Drive RA technology adoption by developing strong technical and professional trusted relationships with the customer
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers in the development of complex automation solutions (application, product), programming and scripting language, Cloud & Virtualization, Operator Interface, Supervision, Cybersecurity, PLC
  • Execute Proof of Concepts, design reviews, application programming consulting and assistance, technical demonstration and presentation, focused application training, application notes development, application library code development, and startup engineering or consulting support
  • Build a long-term, trusted relationship with the implementer level at the assigned OEM's
  • Support the adoption of the Rockwell Automation Portfolio / Services
