Requirements

  • Ability to create comprehensive global sourcing strategies for Facilities sub-categories (Hard Services, Soft Services, Waste, Security, or Archiving) with a global and strategic mindset
  • Experience working closely with Business Units (BUs), regional procurement leads, and stakeholders like Workplace Solutions (WPS) & Site engineering teams
  • Understanding of how global, regional, and local market strategies align and affect each other
  • Expertise in spend categories within Facilities procurement
  • Knowledge of Haleon’s sustainability and diversity objectives
  • Skills in benefit delivery, risk management (assurance of supply), quality, service, cost, and innovation
  • Proficiency in financial benefits management aligned to Procurement Plan and Savings Methodology, with BU and Finance agreement
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills at global and regional levels
  • Capability to build and manage strategic relationships with key global suppliers
  • Experience in supplier performance management, contract planning, negotiation, execution, interpretation, and maintenance
  • Ability to develop and implement operational excellence strategies for suppliers against KPIs

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global category strategies for Facilities sub-categories, forming the foundation for regional and BU strategies
  • Collaborate with BUs to ensure global strategies account for regional and local market requirements while leveraging global opportunities
  • Build education and communication processes for regional and BU procurement leads
  • Act as the global expert in assigned spend categories
  • Ensure global strategies reflect Haleon’s sustainability and diversity objectives
  • Deliver benefits through strategy execution with BUs, focusing on assurance of supply, quality, service, cost, and innovation
  • Manage financial benefits per Procurement Plan and Savings Methodology, ensuring transparency and agreement with BUs and Finance
  • Influence key global and regional stakeholders to support strategy development, endorsement, execution, and benefit budgeting
  • Build strategic relationships with key global suppliers and drive value from them
  • Manage the supply base through robust performance management processes
  • Lead contract planning, negotiation, execution, interpretation, and maintenance with global suppliers
  • Develop and implement operational excellence strategies and plans for key global suppliers to drive KPI improvements
