Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits or Total Rewards, with strong focus on benefits management in a multinational environment
  • Solid knowledge of Mexican labor and social security legislation related to benefits and experience ensuring compliance
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to model scenarios, manage budgets and interpret data for decision making
  • Proven experience in vendor and broker management, including negotiation and performance tracking
  • Advanced English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at different levels and across countries
  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and high attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, review and implementation of benefits programs (health, life, disability, retirement, wellness, flexible benefits) for Mexico and support regional/global projects
  • Ensure compliance with local labor, tax and social security regulations and align local practices with global policies
  • Manage vendors and brokers, including RFP processes, contract negotiations, renewals, service level monitoring and ongoing relationship management
  • Conduct data analysis and benchmarking to evaluate competitiveness, cost, utilization and employee experience; propose improvements and cost-optimization scenarios
  • Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance and Legal to ensure flawless execution of benefits processes throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Develop and deliver clear communications and training for employees and managers to increase understanding and perceived value of benefits
  • Support global benefits governance, including participation in global projects, harmonization initiatives, M&A integrations and policy development
  • Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations for leadership, highlighting key insights, risks and recommendations related to benefits
